Hi Terry, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I was born in a small city called Meru in Kenya where I grew up and went to school. In 2001, an opportunity to work and live in USA through a Student Exchange Program. Life In USA was fun however the culture and food were very shocking. I worked in different careers before finding that my Passion was in Health and Fitness. I started my journey with a passion for health and movement. Early on, I realized how powerful fitness could be, not just for transforming bodies, but for rebuilding confidence, energy, and overall quality of life. What began as a personal interest quickly grew into a career dedicated to helping others move better, feel stronger, and live healthier.

Over the years, I’ve expanded my work to include personal training, wellness coaching, and mobility programs designed for all fitness levels, from beginners to those recovering from injury or managing physical limitations. Today, my focus is on creating practical, sustainable fitness and nutrition solutions that empower clients to build strength and longevity, not just short-term results.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

Not at all……. the journey has had its share of ups and downs. When I started, I was driven by passion, but I quickly realized passion alone isn’t enough. There were moments of self-doubt, financial challenges, and times I questioned whether I was truly making a difference.

Balancing clients’ needs, managing time, and staying motivated through slow seasons was/is tough. But every struggle became a lesson. I learned to adapt, to keep showing up even when things felt uncertain, and to trust the process. Those experiences shaped not just my business, but my mindset. Today, I see challenges as opportunities to grow — both as a professional and as a person.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?

Growing up, I was a quiet and somewhat naïve girl. As an introvert and a mama’s girl, I kept a small circle of friends and often found comfort in my own company. My childhood wasn’t perfect, but it shaped me into who I am today. The challenges I faced built my resilience and taught me the value of gratitude and compassion.

I was always active in school, part of the traditional dance group, the soccer team, and I also played table tennis and badminton. I joined the Agriculture Club, which I believe sparked my lifelong love for gardening and the outdoors. To this day, I consider myself an outdoor, nature-loving girl who finds peace and strength in the simplicity of being outside.
